The Q641F pneumatic ball valve is composed of a high-precision pneumatic actuator and a precision cast ball valve. It is mainly divided into two categories: pneumatic soft-sealed ball valves (≤ 200°) and pneumatic hard-sealed ball valves (≤ 550°). The pneumatic ball valve has the advantages of compact structure, small volume, reliable operation, low flow resistance coefficient, good sealing performance, easy maintenance, convenient installation, and strong adaptability. The pneumatic ball valve can be equipped with travel limit switches, solenoid valves, pressure reducing valves, and 0.4-0.7 MPa air source to achieve on-off operation and send two pairs of passive contact signals to indicate the valve's on-off status. The pneumatic flange ball valve is particularly suitable for occasions where the medium is viscous, contains particles, or fibrous properties. The pneumatic ball valve is widely used in industrial automatic control systems in fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, teaching equipment, light industry, high-pressure equipment, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, etc., for remote centralized control or local control.
Working principle

Q641F pneumatic ball valve, as the name suggests, is a valve that uses an air-driven actuator (such as an air cylinder, air motor, etc.) to control the rotation of the ball, thereby achieving the opening, closing, or regulation of the flow of the medium in the pipeline. Its core component - the ball - rotates 90 degrees inside the valve body to complete the full opening or full closing action. This design gives the pneumatic ball valve significant advantages such as strong flow capacity, low resistance, and good sealing performance. When the air source passes through control elements such as an electromagnetic valve and enters the air-driven actuator, the piston or diaphragm inside the actuator is driven by the air pressure to produce linear or rotational movement, thereby driving the ball to rotate and achieving control of the pipeline medium.
Characteristics

1. Low fluid resistance. The ball valve has the lowest fluid resistance among all types of valves. Even the reduced-diameter ball valve has relatively low fluid resistance.
2. The thrust bearing reduces the frictional torque of the valve stem, enabling the valve stem to operate smoothly and flexibly over a long period of time.
3. The valve seat has excellent sealing performance. The sealing ring is made of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene. The structure is easy to achieve sealing, and the sealing capacity of the ball valve increases as the pressure of the medium increases.
4. The valve stem has a reliable seal. Since the valve stem only undergoes rotational motion rather than vertical movement, the packing seal of the valve stem is less likely to be damaged. Moreover, the sealing capacity increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
5. Due to the excellent self-lubricating properties of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, there is minimal friction between the ball and the valve body, thereby extending the service life of the ball valve.
6. The lower-mounted valve stem and the raised step at the stem head prevent the valve stem from spilling out. In case the valve stem seal is damaged due to a fire, the raised step can still form a metal contact with the valve body, ensuring the valve stem seal.
